A personal identity and product family

A system for work that should feel unmistakably related—not identical.

thimabi is the personal brand of Thiago Bittencourt and the shared identity behind a small family of editorial, utility, and private digital products. The system favors clarity, durable craft, and purpose over decoration.

01

Foundation

One house, different rooms

The same signature, typography, spacing discipline, and interaction principles create recognition. Each property keeps the density, hierarchy, and expression its job requires.

  • Purpose before decoration
  • Immediate value with progressive depth
  • Personal evidence over generic claims
  • Quiet craft and durable web

02

Signature

One controlled geometry

The lowercase t, asymmetric enclosure, and precise point form the master mark. The full signature is the default expression; the compact mark is reserved for constrained contexts such as favicons and avatars.

03

Color

thimabi blue at the center

#1F4E79 is the fixed identity color. Interfaces use semantic colors suited to their surface: a lighter blue supports interaction in dark mode, Bittencourt Notes uses a restrained editorial red, and thimabi Tools retains its purposeful green.

Typography

Three voices, one family

Karla carries identity and interfaces, Newsreader supports sustained editorial reading, and Inconsolata handles code and precise utility data. Their roles change by property, but their hierarchy stays coherent.

05

Applications

Identity adapts to the job

The system is shared material, not a universal template.

06

Imagery

Orientation rather than ornament

Illustration draws on maps, marginalia, books, and engineered objects as systems of thought—not as decorative props. Every image must help establish place, explain structure, or support meaning, with paired light and dark treatments when needed.

07

Use

Consistency without sameness

Do

  • Keep thimabi lowercase
  • Use the canonical mark source
  • Let the page own its light or dark theme
  • Preserve each product’s working cognitive map

Avoid

  • Redraw or distort the mark
  • Use generic startup gradients or ornamental motion
  • Force every property into the same layout
  • Claim authority through empty marketing language

Designed as a durable extension of Thiago’s work: rigorous, cosmopolitan, analytical, and dependable.
